Job summary

Revolutional is seeking a Senior SOC/Security Engineer to lead SOC engineering, deployment, and maintenance for a large federal agency in a 24x7 SOC. You will guide tool configurations, sensor deployment, and platform integration while mentoring SOC staff and ensuring compliance with security standards.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Cybersecurity or related field and 10+ years of experience, with DoD/ federal context preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, CS, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of relevant professional experience; three (3) years of additional relevant experience may substitute for degree.

Responsibilities

• Serve as task lead for SOC engineering, deployment, operations, and maintenance.
• Support cybersecurity architecture, strategy, research, evaluation, integration, deployment, and sustainment of SOC technologies.
• Deploy, configure, operate, maintain, and troubleshoot SOC tools, sensors, platforms, enclaves, and related cybersecurity technologies.
• Ensure engineered solutions comply with client policies, standards, hardening guidelines, security requirements, and approved direction.
• Support integration and interoperability of SOC tools, data sources, platforms, workflows, applications.
