Job summary

Triangle Cyber is seeking a SOC Automation Solutions Engineer (Super Intelligence) for a large Federal client. The role is remote within the United States, with duties to design, implement, and maintain automated/SI security detection capabilities across integrated enterprise security monitoring technologies.

The candidate will strengthen threat detection and response through detection engineering, security automation, systems integration, data analysis, and continuous improvement of detection

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen and reside within the United States.
• Minimum of eight (8) years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university in applicable field (or 12 years total experience).
• Experience developing SOC automation solutions using Super Intelligence.
• Must have Security+ or equivalent (e.g., CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CCNA CyberOps, SC-200, CISSP).
• Must have one of GCIA, GCIH, or CySA+ certifications.
• Programming/scripting proficiency (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Experience with SOAR tools: SentinelOne, SentinelOne Singularity Hyperautomation, Splunk ES, Splunk SOAR.
• Experience with SOC operations including Incident Response and Threat Intelligence methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain automated/SI detection capabilities across security monitoring technologies.
• Integrate and optimize security technologies (SIEM, EDR, SOAR) into a cohesive detection architecture.
• Translate operational security needs into technical specifications and feasible solutions.
• Test, evaluate, and validate detections and automation/SI workflows; drive improvements.
• Analyze telemetry to identify anomalies and detection gaps; propose enhancements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
• Collaborate with SOC, threat intelligence, and IR teams to align detections with threat priorities.
• Research and evaluate new security/SI/ML capabilities to enhance detection.
