Revolutional invites a SOC Engineer to design, deploy, and sustain cybersecurity tools for a major federal agency. You will build detections, dashboards, and automation across on-prem and cloud environments, aligning with policy and change-control processes.

Expect shift coverage for incidents and strong collaboration with stakeholders. You should bring 3+ years in security operations, hands-on SIEM/EDR/SOAR experience, and proficiency in scripting to automate responses and improve SOC

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience deploying, configuring, and maintaining SOC technologies such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS/IPS, and network sensors.
• Experience developing and tuning detection rules, analytics, and dashboards.
• Scripting or automation experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
• Experience developing engineering documentation, including designs, test plans, and configuration records.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and implement cybersecurity solutions to protect systems and networks.
• Research and pilot new cybersecurity technologies and resolve issues.
• Assist with configurations, validate secure systems, test security products and detect weaknesses.
• Interface with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs.
• Develop, test, maintain, and document analytics, detections, dashboards, and automation playbooks.
• Tune sensors, rules, alerts to improve detection quality and reduce false positives.
