Doeren Mayhew, a leading U.S. tax, assurance and advisory firm, seeks an Associate, SOC 1/SOC 2 Specialist to join the IT Advisory and Security Group in the Troy, MI office.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience performing SOC 1 and SOC 2 attestations, including walkthroughs, control testing and report prep. You may also contribute to IT general and application controls testing and cybersecurity assessments.

Formación

• Hands-on SOC 1 and SOC 2 attestation experience.
• Experience with walkthroughs, control testing and report prep.
• Knowledge of IT controls and governance practices.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and deadlines.

Responsabilidades

• Executes SOC 1 and SOC 2 engagements, including walkthroughs and testing.
• Assists IT audit and advisory engagements, identifying risks and controls.
• Prepares workpapers and drafts findings and recommendations.
• Collaborates with team members to complete client engagements on time.
• Supports training of junior staff as appropriate.

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, Finance, or related field
