Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 3 years armed security, law enforcement, or military experience, or an Associate degree in a security-related field.
• Ability to meet physical fitness, weapons qualification, and training standards.
• Valid state security licenses and certifications for armed guard duties.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 4 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor facility access, manage visitor processing, issue security badges, and conduct routine security patrols.
• Respond to fire, intrusion, and other alarms; test, monitor, and respond to CCTV in accordance with established procedures.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with incident reporting and notification protocols.
• Complete daily access-control reports and assist with Weekly Activity Report submissions.
• Provide basic emergency first aid and assist with emergency response activities, as appropriate.
