Job summary

SOC LLC in Whitestown, IN is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our SOC Team. You will provide armed security, access control, patrol, and incident response to protect personnel and property, in accordance with post orders and company policies.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3 years of armed security or related experience (or an associate degree in security), valid licenses, and the ability to obtain a Public Trust Level 4 background.

Qualifications

• Three years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience; or an Associate degree in security field.
• Valid state security licenses and certifications for armed guard duties.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 4 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor facility access; manage visitor processing and badges.
• Respond to fire, intrusion, and other alarms; monitor CCTV and security systems.
• Document incidents promptly per reporting protocols.
• Complete daily access-control reports and assist with Weekly Activity Reports.
• Provide basic emergency first aid and assist with emergency responses.
