Job summary

DZConneX Solutions Ltd in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our SOC Team. You will provide armed security, perform access control, patrol, and respond to incidents to protect personnel, property, and assets in line with contract post orders.

The role requires strong communication, firearms proficiency, and the ability to work independently in a high-security environment, with duties including reporting and emergency response as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Three (3) years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience; or an Associate degree in a security-related field.
• Ability to meet physical fitness, weapons qualification, and training standards.
• Valid state security licenses and certifications for armed guard duties.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor facility access, manage visitor processing, issue badges, and patrol interior/exterior areas.
• Respond to alarms; test and monitor security systems and CCTV per procedures.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly per reporting protocols.
• Complete daily access-control reports and assist with weekly activity submissions.
• Provide basic emergency first aid and assist with emergency response when needed.
