Job summary

Day & Zimmermann seeks an Armed Security Officer to join the SOC Team in Olive Branch, MS. The role provides armed security, access control, patrols, and incident response to safeguard personnel, property, and assets under established post orders and Company policies.

Responsibilities include monitoring access, responding to alarms, documenting incidents, and producing routine reports. Candidates must meet security and fitness requirements and possess valid state licenses.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent is required.
• Three years of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience, or an associate degree in a security-related field.
• Must meet physical fitness, weapons qualification, and training standards for armed security.
• Valid state security licenses and certifications for armed guard duties.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 4 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor facility access, manage visitor processing, issue/ account for security badges, conduct routine security patrols.
• Respond to fire, intrusion, and other alarms; test and monitor CCTV per procedures.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly; follow incident reporting protocols.
• Complete daily access-control reports and assist with Weekly Activity Reports.
• Provide basic emergency first aid and assist with emergency response activities.
