Job summary

SOC LLC in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Armed Security Officer to join our SOC Team. You will provide armed security, access control, patrols, and incident response to protect personnel, property, and assets in accordance with policies and post orders.

The ideal candidate has 3 years of armed security or related experience, holds valid state licenses, and can obtain Public Trust Level 4. You must maintain fitness standards and deliver clear, timely reports.

Qualifications

• 3 years armed security, law enforcement, or military experience; or an Associate degree in a security-related field.
• Valid state security licenses and certifications for armed guard duties.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 4 background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor facility access, manage visitor processing, issue and account for security badges, and conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Respond to fire, intrusion, and other alarms; test and monitor CCTV and security systems.
• Document incidents accurately and promptly, ensuring compliance with reporting protocols.
• Complete daily access-control reports and assist with Weekly Activity Report submissions.
• Provide basic emergency first aid and assist with emergency response activities.
