This is an opportunity for someone who understands the carrier side of freight brokerage and enjoys negotiating, building carrier relationships and taking ownership of their work without being heavily micromanaged.
As a Carrier Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for sourcing and securing reliable capacity for customer freight while protecting margins and maintaining strong relationships with carriers.
You'll work closely with the customer sales team to understand their freight requirements and ensure loads are covered efficiently and competitively.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience on the carrier side of a US freight brokerage or 3PL.

You'll be joining an established environment rather than building a carrier function from scratch. There is already a sizeable customer and carrier sales team operating from the Chicago office.

This position is well suited to an experienced carrier sales professional who wants the stability and infrastructure of an established brokerage while still having the freedom to manage their responsibilities independently.
You'll be working alongside an existing customer sales team with active freight requirements, giving you the opportunity to focus on what strong carrier salespeople do best: finding capacity, negotiating effectively, developing carrier relationships and protecting margin.
