Job summary

Monarch Mountain is seeking a Snowsports Operations Supervisor to support daily on-mountain lessons and programs. You will work with the Snowsports Director to ensure guests have extraordinary experiences and safe, well-coordinated activities.

The role requires skiing/snowboarding experience, 21+ age, and a valid driver’s license. You’ll train staff, schedule shifts, and help manage budgets in a fast-paced winter environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 and legal work status.
• High School Diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• PSIA/AASI Level I certification required.
• Skiing and/or snowboarding experience required.
• Background check required.
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Must work at high elevation (up to 12,000 ft).
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist Snowsports Director in daily operations.
• Oversee staff scheduling and training.
• Ensure safety and guest satisfaction.
• Maintain department budgets and records.
• Coordinate with other departments for programs and clinics.
• Assist in hiring and performance reviews.
• Provide professional guest service and problem solving.
