Monarch Mountain in Salida, CO seeks a Base Services Supervisor for winter seasonal duties. Lead the Base Services team, oversee parking, events, and base area operations while ensuring safety and guest satisfaction.

Must be an advanced skier with supervisory capabilities and strong communication skills. Compensation includes a $24/hour rate and a discretionary end-of-season bonus, plus benefits like the Monarch Season Pass.

Qualifications

• Minimum Age: 25
• Legal US citizen or valid work permit
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• High School diploma or GED; college degree preferred
• Ski/ride at an intermediate level
• Minimum one year Base Area Services experience
• Some supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Base Services team following department and company policies.
• Complete forms, tracking, verifications, payroll and timekeeping accurately.
• Hire and schedule department staff for coverage.
• Train staff and oversee daily/seasonal operations.
• Provide timely feedback and conduct performance reviews.
• Manage department budget and emergency planning.
• Assist with events and parking lot duties as needed.
• Maintain safety and facility standards around base area.
