Job summary

Boyne Resorts is seeking a SnowSports Supervisor at The Summit SnowSports School in Snoqualmie, WA. You will lead staff, supervise instructors, schedule programs, and drive payroll accuracy while delivering exceptional guest experiences across long-term, high-demand operations.

In this role, you will mentor instructors, coordinate trainings, and partner with the SnowSports Manager to design engaging lesson programming that supports guest satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of The Summit SnowSports School or a comparable operation.
• Proven leadership experience with minimal supervision.
• Flexible, adaptable, and thrive in a fast-paced guest-driven environment.
• Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain calm under pressure.
• Strong commitment to guest service and employee development.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel; Outlook/Word knowledge.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated emotional intelligence and cultural awareness in leading diverse teams.
• Must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist recruitment efforts across ability levels, programs, and guest demographics.
• Lead instructor training initiatives for consistent teaching standards.
• Design and execute lesson programming to support guest satisfaction and employee success.
• Oversee daily and seasonal instructor scheduling for peak coverage.
• Manage onboarding, activation, and separation of team members.
• Oversee uniform inventory and distribution/return for base area staff.
• Accurately manage and report payroll data with timeliness.
• Maintain accurate employee records and ensure privacy compliance.
• Monitor labor-to-revenue ratios and inform staffing decisions with data.
• Collaborate to evaluate operational, guest, and industry trends to improve processes.
• Communicate effectively to build trust and support retention.
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and feedback to instructors.
• Build relationships with guests to encourage repeat business and participation.
