Job summary

Yellowstone Vacations in West Yellowstone, MT is seeking a Snowmobile Mechanic to rent and maintain snowmobiles for guided tours throughout Yellowstone National Park and self-guided rentals on National Forest trails. On-the-job training is available.

You will perform regular maintenance to keep the fleet in good condition, diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects, and maintain a clean, safe shop.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance to ensure fleet is in good working condition.
• Repair and replace body components as needed.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and other defects on fleet.
• Perform regular inspections per guidelines.
• Keep shop and equipment clean, safe and organized.
• Other duties as assigned.

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is searching for a Snowmobile Mechanic to join our team at Yellowstone Vacations and Two Top in West Yellowstone, MT. In this role, you will be responsible for renting and maintaining snowmobiles for guided tours throughout Yellowstone National Park and self-guided rentals on National Forest trails. On the job training is available.

Pay

$16.00 – $20.00 / hour

More about you

• Valid and current driver’s license required
• Must be able to speak clearly and communicate well
• Ability to read and comprehend technical manuals

Physical requirements

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and crawling
• Ability to lift to 100 pounds
• Exposure to varying weather conditions
• Vision must be sufficient that the driver is not restricted in the performance of duties day or night.
