Delaware North Parks and Resorts is seeking a seasonal HVAC Technician to join Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. You will perform maintenance on heating and cooling systems, diagnose issues, and ensure safe, efficient operation.

Qualifications

• Five years of experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing and refrigeration.
• HVAC certification: EPA Universal preferred.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work independently or in a team.
• Must be able to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling units.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions and calibrate thermostats.
• Install, repair, or replace HVAC equipment as needed.
• Inspect liquids and vapor pressures to ensure efficient operation.
• Maintain chilled and hot water systems at the property.
• Interpret building codes related to HVAC.

The opportunity

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a seasonal HVAC Technician to join our team at Yellowstone General Stores in Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming. As an HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for completing plumbing, electrical, preventative maintenance, snow removal, and truck maintenance tasks.

Pay

$20.75 – $23.75 / hour

What will you do?

• Perform regular maintenance on heating and cooling units
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical malfunctions, install, replace, or repair damaged equipment, and calibrate thermostatic controls
• Install new heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning systems; repair and replace damaged or worn heating
• Inspect and observe pressure of liquids and vapor with HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation of units and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain the chilled and hot water supply systems at the property
• Interpret building codes and regulations as they relate to HVAC

More about you

• Minimum of five years’ experience in general maintenance, electrical, plumbing, and refrigeration
• Universal HVAC and Epa
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
• Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift at least 70 lbs frequently
• Constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
• Ability to work at various heights, including frequent use of a ladder
