Job summary

Alterra Mountain Company in Stratton is seeking a Snowmobile Guide for a seasonal, part-time role. You will lead snowmobile tours around the Stratton area and provide safety briefings. Snowmobile riding experience is required and the position pays $20.00 per hour.

Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December. Responsibilities include leading tours, teaching riding techniques, basic snowmobile repairs, and assisting with check-in while ensuring guest safety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
• Previous snowmobile riding experience is required.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Lead on hill snowmobile tours for all ages.
• Teach proper riding and safety techniques.
• Minor repairs to snowmobiles when needed.
• Perform trail maintenance as needed.
• Organize tours to insure efficiency.
• Help with check-in process.
• Ensure guest safety and provide safety briefing.

POSITION SUMMARY

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
