Job summary

Stratton Mountain Resort is hiring snowmakers for full-time seasonal roles, with an starting wage of $23.00/hr and higher wages based on experience. Roles require working outside in all weather conditions, including overnight shifts when temperatures permit.

Responsibilities include pre-season setup, operating snowmaking equipment safely, performing maintenance, keeping the site clean, and supporting other departments as needed. Recruitment will continue through December.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 18+ years of age.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work in all winter conditions, including snow, rain, wind, ice.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, which may include 12 hour &/or overnight shifts.
• Previous snowmaking experience, preferred.
• Previous experience operating snowmobiles, preferred.

• Safe and efficient operation of snowmaking equipment to produce the quality snow that Stratton guests expect.
• Complete maintenance on snowmaking equipment.

• Assist other departments and fill in as needed.
• Follow all company safety policies.
• Additional duties as required.

Snowmakers are responsible for safely and efficiently operating snowmaking equipment. Snowmakers must be willing and able to work outside in all weather conditions. Snowmaking is a physically demanding job. Snow is expected to be made whenever temperatures allow, many snowmaking shifts will occur overnight. Full-time seasonal positions available. The starting wage for this position is $23.00/hr, higher wages based on experience.
