Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking an experienced Snowmaking Supervisor to assist the Snowmaking Manager in overseeing shift crews and ensuring safe, high-quality snowmaking operations. You will help set schedules, train staff, and drive safety standards daily.

You will monitor equipment, respond to weather changes, and coordinate with Ski Patrol to communicate current conditions and procedures. A strong leader with on-hill snowmaking experience is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 full seasons of on-hill snowmaking experience.
• Valid NH Driver's License.
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Snowmaking Manager in handling personnel and scheduling according to resort guidelines.
• Conduct job and safety training for the department.
• Maintain shift efficiency and adapt to weather-related plan changes.
• Regularly inspect and maintain snowmaking equipment.
• Coordinate with Snowmaking Supervisor and Ski Patrol on conditions and procedures.
