Job summary

Vail Resorts in the United States is seeking a Snowmaker to help build the mountain and create optimal skiing surfaces for guests. You’ll work outdoors in alpine conditions and operate snowmaking equipment with safety and efficiency.

This winter seasonal role offers starting pay of $20.00–$23.00 per hour, full-time hours, and opportunities to grow through our Epic Service training. Housing is not provided, and applicants must be 18+.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Must be able to communicate fluently in English.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs.
• Basic hand tools knowledge and skill.
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate snowmaking equipment safely and efficiently.
• Operate vehicles, including snowmobiles, safely and efficiently.
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance.
• Work on producing snow to create the best skiing surface for guests.
• Other duties as assigned.

As a Snowmaker, you will brave the elements and help build out the mountain for the skiing guest. Snowmaking is a physically demanding and exciting job. Work with some of the most fascinating equipment on the mountain and make it snow!

Job Specifications:

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr -$23.00/hr

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr -$23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
