Job summary

Vail Resorts in Cleveland area is hiring a Snowmaker for Winter Seasonal 2026/2027. Starting wage is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with duties including operating snowmaking equipment, driving snowmobiles, and maintaining equipment to create optimal skiing surfaces.

The job requires a valid driver’s license, English fluency, ability to lift 50 lbs, and outdoor endurance in alpine conditions. Housing is not provided, and positions are seasonal with ongoing hiring.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Operate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, safely.
• Perform basic maintenance on snowmaking equipment.
• Contribute to producing the best skiing surface for guests.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

As a Snowmaker, you will brave the elements and help build out the mountain for the skiing guest. Snowmaking is a physically demanding and exciting job. Work with some of the most fascinating equipment on the mountain, and make it snow!

Job Specifications

• Starting Wage: $20.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.

Job Responsibilities

The expected pay range is$20.00/hr. - $23.00/hr.. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
