Job summary

Hunter Mountain Ski Bowl, Inc. is hiring Snowmakers for the 2026/2027 winter season. You will operate snowmaking equipment and vehicles, help create a premier skiing surface, and work outdoors in alpine conditions.

Starting wage is $20.00 to $23.00 per hour with full-time hours available and housing optional. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required. Minor labor restrictions apply to minors in compliance with law.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with no restrictions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in alpine conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Operate all snowmaking vehicles, including snowmobiles, safely
• Perform basic snowmaking equipment maintenance
• Help produce snow to create the best skiing surface for guests
• Other duties as assigned

Job Summary

As a Snowmaker, you will brave the elements and help build out the mountain for the skiing guest. Snowmaking is a physically demanding and exciting job. Work with some of the most fascinating equipment on the mountain, and make it snow!

Job Specifications

• Basic hand tool knowledge and skill
• Able to work extended hours outdoors in an alpine environment

The expected pay range is $20.00/hr - $23.00/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
