Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, Inc. is seeking a Snowmaker to cover mountain trails and ensure the highest quality man-made snow for the East. This physically demanding role requires working in extreme weather for extended periods and offers day and night shifts, with overtime readily available.

The position is full-time/part-time seasonal, with duties including setup and maintenance of snowmaking equipment and operating related gear. Join Mohawk Mountain for a classic New England ski experience.

Qualificações

• Occasionally lift, pull, and carry over 50 lbs (with assistance if requested).

Description

JOB SCOPE: to cover mountain ski trails with snow using various methods of snowmaking and equipment.

TWO SHIFTS-

Day (7AM-7PM)

Night (7PM-7AM) -

Wage Range $18 - $24

SUMMARY OF THE POSITION: To work as part of a team, to provide the highest quality and most consistent man-made snow in the East. It is a physically demanding position that requires being in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of time. This position requires timely and reliable attendance. This is a physically demanding job. Overtime hours are readily available.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: A snowmakers duties include, but are not limited to:

• Setting up, maintaining , and breaking down snow making equipment as directed by the Manager
• Routing and retrieving hoses and power cords
• Monitoring pressures throughout the snowmaking system
• Any other duties as assigned

DUTIES PERFORMED: (NOT LIMITED TO) Operation and maintenance of snowmaking equipment. Move,start,and stop snow guns as needed. Operate lifts as necessary. Dispense gasoline, diesel, and propane as necessary. Safely operate ATV. Any and all work directed by the Mountain Operations Manager.
