Job summary

Marlabs invites a talented Snowflake/Databricks Data Engineer to join our team in Indianapolis. You will transform raw data into trusted sources, design scalable pipelines, and collaborate across data, analytics, and product teams.

You will leverage Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, and Power BI to enable self-service analytics, data commercialization, and informed decision-making. Agile practices with Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps drive delivery in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering or a related field.
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Databricks and Azure in enterprise environments.
Strong data modelling, pipeline development and scalable architecture.
Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, ServiceNow and Azure DevOps.
Working knowledge of Power BI or Sigma for self-service analytics.
Exposure to Python and automation initiatives in data projects.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake or Databricks, Azure, and Azure Service Bus.
Lead data integration efforts, extracting data from external sources and landing it in Snowflake, including data modelling and transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop authoritative data sources for data commercialization and decision-making.
Use Agile tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and stand-ups.
Support modernization by transitioning from legacy tools to cloud-native solutions.
Enable self-service analytics through Power BI and Sigma, ensuring data integrity.
