Job summary

Red Bull North America is seeking a Data Engineer to join the Enterprise Analytics & Data Engineering team in Santa Monica, CA. You will build reliable data pipelines, develop Snowflake data models, and create dbt-based transformations to support analytics and AI initiatives.

The role requires 3+ years in data engineering, fluency in English, and strong collaboration with Sales, Distribution, Operations, and Finance. Onsite 4 days a week with one remote day.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of data/analytics engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IS/DE or related field.
• Hands-on with Snowflake/Databricks and data modeling.
• Proficient with dbt or equivalent SQL-based transforms.
• Experience with Dagster/Airflow/Prefect or equivalents.
• Python for data work; GitHub-based version control.
• CI/CD tooling for data assets; cloud storage/compute (AWS/GCP/Azure).
• Familiar with Snowflake Cortex or similar AI/analytics tools.
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration.
• Willing to travel for onboarding/global collaboration.
• English fluency; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain data pipelines with modern orchestration.
• Optimize Snowflake data models for performance and reliability.
• Ingest and process structured and semi-structured data via ELT.
• Write Python for manipulation, automation, and pipelines.
• Manage version control and CI/CD for data assets.
• Contribute to data lake design, lineage, and quality.
• Build AI-ready data layers for analytics and Cortex use cases.
• Collaborate with finance, sales, operations, and others.
• Monitor pipelines for uptime, quality, and SLAs.
• Document designs, data flows, and technical decisions.
