Job summary

Marlabs Inc. is actively seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and lead data integration efforts.

You will transform raw data into trusted sources and enable self-service analytics across the organization using Power BI and Sigma. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering or data architecture, strong Snowflake/Azure experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and tooling like Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical field.
Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus in enterprise environments.
Strong data modeling, pipeline development, and scalable data architecture skills.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
Experience with self-service analytics tools like Power BI or Sigma.
Exposure to Python and interest in automation and AI-driven data initiatives.

Responsibilities

Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus.
Lead data integration efforts, extracting data from external sources and landing it in Snowflake, including data modeling and transformation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to develop authoritative data sources that support data commercialization and strategic decision-making.
Enable self-service analytics across the organization using platforms like Power BI and Sigma.
Support modernization efforts by transitioning from legacy tools to cloud-native solutions.
Use Agile tools for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
