Job summary

Marlabs Inc. is actively seeking a Snowflake Data Engineer to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and lead data integration efforts.

You will transform raw data into trusted sources and enable self-service analytics across the organization using Power BI and Sigma. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in data engineering or data architecture, strong Snowflake/Azure experience, and familiarity with Agile methodologies and tooling like Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or a related technical field.
• Proven hands-on experience with Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus in enterprise environments.
• Strong data modeling, pipeline development, and scalable data architecture skills.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Jira, ServiceNow, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with self-service analytics tools like Power BI or Sigma.
• Exposure to Python and interest in automation and AI-driven data initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable data pipelines using Snowflake, Azure, and Azure Service Bus.
• Lead data integration efforts, extracting data from external sources and landing it in Snowflake, including data modeling and transformation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to develop authoritative data sources that support data commercialization and strategic decision-making.
• Enable self-service analytics across the organization using platforms like Power BI and Sigma.
• Support modernization efforts by transitioning from legacy tools to cloud-native solutions.
• Use Agile tools for sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups.
