Qualifications

• Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and SQL for complex data loads
• Production-grade dbt modeling with data quality testing
• Experience with dimensional modeling (Kimball) and SCDs for banking data
• Familiarity with JSON/VARIANT payloads and semi-structured data
• Hands-on with Python for API ingestion and data pipelines

Responsibilities

• Architect and build dimensional data models around core banking structures (accounts, transactions, customers)
• Design dbt transformation pipelines joining external data feeds to core data foundation
• Develop, test, and document modular dbt models with automated quality checks
• Collaborate with Python developers to process and model JSON/relational payloads
• Optimize Snowflake warehouses, implement RBAC, clustering, and secure data access
