Job summary

Sutton Bank seeks a specialist to develop and maintain the Snowflake database structure that supports its operations. This role designs schemas, writes and debugs stored procedures, and optimizes query performance to securely store customer and financial information.

You'll collaborate with the Manager of Data Analytics and Operations to align data solutions with stakeholder needs, build data pipelines with Snowflake on AWS, and document architecture while ensuring compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a computer-related discipline; Experience: five years in card payment industry as a developer.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and AWS; experience with MySQL and SQL Server; ETL development in data processing environments.

Responsibilities

• Review architecture issues within Snowflake and perform technical delivery reviews.
• Create, troubleshoot, and optimize Snowflake code and stored procedures.
• Design and develop banking data solutions for data and reporting needs.
• Build ETL data pipelines on Snowflake using AWS storage layers (S3).
• Collaborate on Snowflake architecture to meet data stakeholder needs.
• Identify technical risks and document alternative solutions during projects.
• Ensure data alignment with DAO requirements and assist in test data setup.
