Job summary

ISHIR in San Antonio, TX seeks an experienced Analytics/Data Engineer specializing in Snowflake, SQL, dbt, and Python to transform complex banking data into scalable enterprise analytics. Qualifications

Experience in Snowflake, SQL and dbt for analytics workloads.
Proficient in Python and API data ingestion.
Strong dimensional modeling using Kimball, including SCDs.
Familiar with JSON/VARIANT semi-structured data in banking context.
Knowledge of GitHub, Postman, Azure, and Linux environments.

Responsibilities

Architect and build dimensional data models around Jack Henry core banking structures.
Design dbt transformation pipelines with external data feeds to the core foundation.
Develop, test, and document dbt models with automated data quality checks.
Collaborate on Python-based API payload transformations.
Optimize Snowflake performance, RBAC, clustering, and security.
Work with Jack Henry core banking data structures or similar.
Handle Snowflake SQL and semi-structured data parsing.
Build production dbt models and data quality tests.
