Job summary

Inn-Flow is hiring a Snowflake Data Engineer with 3+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and operating data platforms on Snowflake. The role emphasizes SQL proficiency, data warehousing expertise, and hands-on use of dbt and a managed ELT tool like Fivetran for scalable analytics in hospitality.

You will design dbt models, build ingestion pipelines, implement governance, tune performance, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable data models and Sigma

Qualifications

• 3+ years as a Data Engineer with Snowflake experience.
• Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and optimization.
• Hands-on with Snowflake features: dynamic tables, secure views, RBAC, masking, and warehouses.
• Experience with dbt (Core or Cloud) and project organization.
• Experience with a managed ELT tool (Fivetran, Stitch, Airbyte or similar).
• Experience with SQL Server for querying/integration.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain dbt models across medallion architecture.
• Build and operate ingestion pipelines and handle schema evolution.
• Write efficient SQL for transformations and tuning across Source/Target data.
• Implement data governance and security controls in Snowflake.
• Tune Snowflake for performance and cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with product, customer-facing and engineering teams to translate questions into data models and dashboards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality, freshness, and pipeline reliability.
• Automate repetitive work using Python, dbt macros, and GitHub Actions; contribute to runbooks and docs.
