Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort is seeking a Tuning & Demo Technician to work directly with guests and staff to fit, service, and maintain snowboarding and alpine skiing equipment including bindings, mounting, tuning, and waxing.

You will multitask in a busy retail environment, provide excellent customer service, and help ensure safety and shop efficiency. Weekend and holiday availability is required; boot fitting knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1–3 months related experience or training; or equivalent.
• Retail experience in hard goods preferred; outdoor retail and boot fitting knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide information on skiing/snowboarding equipment.
• Tune and repair skis and snowboards.
• Perform binding calibrations, testing, and certifications.
• Mount bindings and test equipment.
• Complete, track, and file necessary paperwork.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of shop area.
