Job summary

Loon Mountain Resort in New Hampshire is seeking a Rental Shop Associate to help guests select equipment, fit boots, and adjust bindings for safety and comfort on the slopes. In a fast-paced, guest-focused environment you will verify liability releases, perform basic tuning and waxing, and may cross-train in other Rental Shop roles or Food & Beverage duties as needed.

Teamwork, reliability, and a positive attitude are essential as you contribute to service level objectives and the overall guest

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Retail experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Help guests pick the right skis or snowboard.
• Fit boots and adjust bindings for safety and comfort.
• Select the correct size ski poles.
• Verify signatures on liability release forms.
• Tuning and waxing of skis and snowboards.
• Binding tests per ASTM standards.
• Support team through Job Sharing; help keep the resort clean and safe; attend safety meetings.
• Meet service level objectives and department goals as set forth by supervisor.
• May work in Food & Beverage during the middle of the day.
• Cross-train in all Rental Shop positions.
