Job summary

Aspen Ridge Landscaping in Rapid City is seeking a Snow Removal Operator to operate plow trucks and skid steers, clear parking lots of snow and ice, and spread ice melt. You will also shovel sidewalks, ensure work quality to company standards, and follow the Landscape Foreman’s directions.

The role requires willingness to work snow events, weekends, holidays, and night shifts, with attention to safety, equipment upkeep, and timely paperwork.

Qualifications

• Must be able to operate a plow truck and a skid steer with a plow.
• Capable of lifting 25 lbs or more and working in varying winter conditions.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
• Available for snow events with a flexible schedule including weekends and nights.

Responsibilities

• Operation of light to heavy equipment to clear parking lots of snow and ice.
• Manual shoveling/clearing sidewalks of ice and snow.
• Apply ice melt to parking lots, sidewalks, etc.
• Ensure projects are completed to the Aspen Ridge standard.
• Follows directions from Landscape Foreman.
• Aware of goals and timelines of the projects.
• Maintains all tools and equipment on jobsite.
• Maintains a clean, safe, and professional jobsite.
• Completes required paperwork and forms.
• Completes LMN forms daily and enters all project notes/pictures.
• Completes workforce forms, DOT and equipment checks.
