Job summary

The Sundance Mountain Resort is seeking a Snow Removal Attendant to support the Grounds team during active snowstorms, focusing on clearing steps and pathways around the resort base areas, HOA's and Mountain Homes.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to operate snow blowers, and shift availability on a flexible, on-call schedule. Must be 16+ and have a valid U.S. driver's license; benefits include employee discounts and an active season pass.

Qualifications

• Less than high school education; or up to one-month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Operate 2-way radios for communication to other staff.
• Must possess a valid U.S. Drivers' License in good standing as determined by Sundance's Insurance Company guidelines.

Job description

Job Title: Snow Removal Attendant

Rate of Pay: $24.00 Hourly During Active Storm Cycles.

Shift: On Call; Must have scheduled availability for a minimum of 2 shifts (up to 10hr/shift) each week; Shift times vary between operating hours of 5am-11pm, Sun-Sat.

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt/Hourly

SUMMARY

The Snow Removal Attendant will be responsible for assisting the Grounds team on Snow Removal around Resort Base area, HOA's & Mountain Home units during active snowstorms. An active storm cycle is defined as the time between the first snowfall of a storm and the last snowfall of a storm with no more than 24 hours of no snow in between. Prior to forecasted active storm cycles, staff will be contacted and scheduled based on pre-determined scheduled availability. Staff will be required to submit scheduled availability for a minimum of two shifts (up to 10 hours) per week.
