Job summary

BrightView is seeking a Snow Equipment Operator to learn and perform all aspects of snow removal during the winter season. You will clean, maintain, and secure equipment as directed, with on-call and overnight shifts expected. A Valid Driver’s License and high school diploma or GED are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Reliable transportation to and from any work site.
• Prior experience operating snowplow equipment and heavy equipment for snow removal.
• Ability to work ON-CALL and Overnight in the winter months.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Removing snow using a variety of heavy equipment for several hours at a time.
• Being available each time it snows and reporting to a central location or the jobsite.
• Removing snow in appropriate locations and avoiding trees, shrubs, hydrants, or sidewalks.
• Reporting concerns or incidents to the direct Supervisor.
• Filling out a job sheet after each snow removal operation.
• Maintaining a safe and secure work environment by following safety policies.
• Performing other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.
