Job summary

DJ's Landscape Management is hiring a Snow Heavy Equipment Operator for the Wixom, MI area. This seasonal, on-call position involves operating heavy snow removal equipment during the winter season, typically from November 15 to April 15, with potential for full-time opportunities based on performance and business needs.

The role offers weekly pay, base pay ($26–$30+ per hour) depending on experience, and paid training at $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years of age or older.
• Professional Commercial snow removal experience preferred.
• Valid Chauffeurs License (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Valid MDOT (company will assist in acquiring one).
• Experience operating wheel loaders, skid steers, agricultural tractors, tractor-trailers, and bulldozers.
• Available for on-call work including nights, days, holidays, and weekend work as needed.
• Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work and be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation.

• Communicate effectively to address on-the-job issues.
• Submit hours, activities, and materials accurately and promptly.
• Complete all training and route learning.
