Job summary

Granlibakken Tahoe is seeking a Groomer Operator for the 2026-2027 winter season, roughly December 15, 2026 to April 15, 2027. This outdoor role maintains the sled hill, beginner ski hill, and XC trails, operating grooming equipment with safety as a priority.

You will perform nightly/early-morning grooming, monitor conditions, and coordinate with teams to ensure premium surface quality for guests of all ages. Compensation is hourly with benefits, lodging options, and resort perks.

Qualifications

• Experience operating grooming equipment or willingness to be trained.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather, including nights and weekends.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate snow grooming equipment to maintain sled hill and XC trails.
• Perform nightly and early morning grooming shifts as needed.
• Monitor weather and snow conditions to plan grooming strategies.
• Maintain safe, inviting surfaces for beginner skiers and guests.
• Inspect and maintain grooming equipment; report major issues.
• Coordinate with snowmaking, ski ops, and guest services teams.
• Keep accurate records of grooming operations and conditions.
• Assist with snow removal, trail signage, and other tasks.
