Granlibakken Tahoe seeks a skilled Groomer Operator for the 2026–2027 winter season, roughly Dec 15, 2026 to Apr 15, 2027. You will groom the sled hill, beginner ski hill, and XC trails, ensuring high-quality snow surfaces for guests of all ages.

Operate snow grooming equipment, monitor conditions, and coordinate with mountain teams to maintain safe, enjoyable slopes. This role requires independence, flexibility for early/late shifts, and a strong commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Experience operating grooming equipment such as snowcats or snowmobiles (or willingness to be trained).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, including nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Keep accurate records of grooming operations and conditions.
• Assist with snow removal, trail signage, fencing, and other mountain operations tasks as required.

Position Summary

Granlibakken Tahoe is seeking a skilled, dependable Groomer Operator for the 2026–2027 winter season

(approximately December 15, 2026 – April 15, 2027)

This hands-on, outdoor role is responsible for maintaining our small ski and sledding hill alongside our scenic cross-country ski trails. Operating independently with a strong commitment to safety, the ideal candidate will take pride in producing exceptional, high-quality snow surfaces to ensure a premium experience for guests of all ages.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous experience grooming cross-country trails or small ski hills.

Compensation

$20.00 - $24.00 per hour
