Job summary

Rycoe Enterprises, Inc. in Central NY is seeking a Snow Crew Member to assist with snow and ice removal during winter events. This is an on-call, seasonal role for outdoor, hands-on work.

You will keep driveways and walkways safe, operate snow removal equipment, and work with a team under safety procedures. Competitive hourly pay and a weekly pay incentive are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable and available 24/7 during snow events.
• Physically capable of shoveling, lifting 50lbs, walking and working outdoors in challenging weather conditions.
• Able to work independently and with a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable transportation to job sites.
• Previous snow removal, landscaping, or outside labor experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Clear snow and ice from sidewalks, walkways, building entrances and pedestrian areas.
• Operate sidewalk snow removal equipment, including powered sidewalk snow removal machines and snow blowers.
• Perform manual snow removal using shovels and apply ice melt, salt, or sand to surfaces as needed.
• Follow assigned directions and schedules while collaborating with team members to ensure timely and efficient service.
• Perform equipment inspections and report any issues.
• Maintain a professional attitude and deliver quality services in challenging weather conditions.
• Follow company safety procedures and customer requirements.

Role Overview:

The Snow Crew Memberis a hardworking and reliable employee who will assist with snow and ice removal during winter weather events. This is an on-call, seasonal position for employees who enjoy hands-on outdoor work and can respond quickly when snow events occur.
