Pantex in Amarillo, TX, seeks an Associate-level SNM Tester Design Engineer to serve as SME for SNM testing equipment and lead design changes to improve reliability and functionality. The role involves documenting designs, diagnosing failures, and collaborating with internal departments and national labs.

The engineer will design new equipment to support expanding work scope while coordinating with project teams.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering/science required.
• DOE O 426.2A experience or equivalent required.
• ABET-accredited program preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as SME for SNM testing equipment and drive design changes to improve reliability and functionality.
• Maintain system design documentation and diagnose system failures.
• Interface with multiple internal departments and national labs.
• Design new equipment to support expanding work scope and replace aging equipment.
