Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking an Admissions/Infection Control Nurse-Registered Nurse to join our team. The RN reports directly to the Director of Nursing. Shift: Full Time.

The RN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of residents, providing leadership support, and assisting with resident care and services, including medication administration and maintaining clinical quality assurance within the wellness framework.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse.
• Minimum of one year of experience with elders or disabled individuals preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living industry and Dementia care preferred.
• Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents and provide leadership support and assistance with resident care and services.
• Administer medications and communicate with resident support services and families.
• Maintain clinical quality assurance while leading and supporting wellness components of the program.
• Identify ongoing needs via PSP and ensure proper documentation.
• Inform Wellness/Executive Director of changes in medication or service level.
• Obtain weights and vital signs monthly for residents and update wellness health records.
• Provide direct resident care as needed.

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking an Admissions/Infection Control Nurse-Registered Nurse to join their team!

The RN reports directly to the Director of Nursing.

Shift Details

Full Time

PURPOSE - RN

The RN is responsible for monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents and provides leadership support and assistance with resident care and services.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to medication care administration, communication with resident support services and families and maintaining clinical quality assurance while leading, demonstrating and supporting all the elements of wellness which are core components of Phoenix programs and services.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - RN

Resident Care

Identifies on-going needs and services of residents through the assessment / Personalized Service Plan (PSP) process

Ensures proper follow through and documentation for residents with a change in clinical care needs

Assist the Wellness Director with Completing the clinical sections of monthly wellness visits and PSP to accurately reflect the resident monthly

Informs the Wellness Director and/or Executive Director of any changes in medication or service level that may result in a higher tier level or potential move-out

Assist with obtaining weights and vital signs monthly for each resident prior to completing monthly wellness health updates

Assist with direct resident care as needed

Requirements

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION - RN

Must be a Registered Nurse

A minimum of one year of experience working with elders or disabled individuals, preferred

Must have demonstrated Leadership capabilities

Knowledge and experience in Assisted Living industry and Dementia care or Skilled Nursing, preferred

Ability to work weekends, evenings and flexible hours, available to our customers at peak service delivery days and times
