Job summary

Public Consulting Group LLC (PCG) seeks a highly motivated SNAP Quality Assurance Consultant to analyze eligibility operations, QA processes, and performance data for state agencies. You will observe processes, review findings, and develop actionable improvements and trainings to reduce payment errors, improve efficiency, and enhance customer service.

The role requires 5+ years supervising SNAP staff or QA activities, strong policy knowledge, and the ability to coach clients.

Qualifications

• Strong communicator with experience in SNAP policy.
• Extensive knowledge of SNAP eligibility policy.
• In-depth experience with SNAP Quality Control and error rate calculations.
• Ability to work with teammates and managers.
• Ability to coach and advise state agency leadership and staff.

Responsibilities

• Observe and analyze current state SNAP eligibility operations and processing.
• Review QC findings to identify root causes of errors.
• Translate findings into improvement strategies and training materials.
• Conduct in-depth case reviews to identify error root causes.
• Identify measures to reduce errors and improve efficiency and service.
• Develop tools for QA activities and prioritization of error-prone cases.
• Advise agency leaders on implementation and change management.
• Coach staff on process and system enhancements.
