Job summary

Mondelēz International in Homewood, AL is seeking a Retail Territory Manager to lead in-store execution, build relationships with retailers, and drive DSD sales across a multi-store territory.

You will manage a team of merchandisers, rollout priorities, and HQ programs while delivering growth through data-driven strategies and strong store partnerships. This role requires strategic planning and hands-on leadership in a dynamic retail environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of selling experience with strong sales background and understanding of business processes.
• Ability to perform physical activities including lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional up to 50 lbs.
• Successful completion of background checks and MVR.
• Company vehicle with gas card and maintenance program offered.

Responsibilities

• Deliver monthly and quarterly sales targets across assigned accounts using retail selling methodologies.
• Lead and coach a team of full-time and part-time merchandisers, from hiring to performance development.
• Ensure flawless rollout of sales priorities and merchandising programs in-store.
• Provide on-site sales consultation to customers and secure incremental opportunities.
• Tailor data-driven sales strategies to store demographics to fuel territory growth.
• Build strong partnerships with store personnel to deliver top-tier service.
• Strategically deploy merchandisers and order writers to maximize shelf impact.
• Oversee product ordering, display execution, and unsaleables management with FTOWs.
• Design and execute a smart store schedule to strengthen relationships and drive results.
