Orchard Valley Golf Course in Aurora, IL, is hiring a part-time Snack Shop Attendant for a seasonal position lasting six months or less. You will help guests with friendly service, take orders, and handle POS transactions in a fast-paced environment.

Orchard Valley Golf Course, located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Snack Shop Attendant! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role

Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation

$11.00 - $12.00 per hour plus tips

Schedule

Weekend availability is required.

Key Responsibilities

Ensures guests are attended to in a prompt, efficient, and personalized manner.

Prepares and serves food and beverage items.

Maintains an organized and clean work area.

Controls inventory through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products.

Reports to the department manager when supplies need to be ordered.

Stocks and inventories products.

Responds to guest questions regarding general information about the facility.

Provides support to food servers and beverage cart attendants to ensure excellent service to members and guests.

Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by management.

Communicates guest concerns or comments immediately to the Food and Beverage Manager and Chef.

Reviews the schedule for changes, calendar of events, and facility activities daily.

Processes snack bar purchases with the EZLinks point of sale (POS) system.

Manages cash transactions.

Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.

Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

Performs other duties as required.
