Five Star Breaktime Solutions in Lafayette, LA is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to stock vending machines and micro-markets across client locations, keeping shelves tidy and appealing.

You will drive a company vehicle, maintain inventory, restock items, and uphold safety and cash-handling procedures while delivering friendly service and upsell opportunities to customers. The role requires 21+ for DOT requirements and involves lifting up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Requires ability to drive and lift (up to 50 pounds).
• Experience handling cash and recording transactions.
• Familiarity with inventory and product rotation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and plansogram. Roll-out promotions and gather customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels across all products including snacks, beverages, sandwiches, salads, and perishable items.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver merchandise; load/unload with proper safety protocols.
• Collect money from kiosks and follow cash-handling protocols.
• Ensure proper handling and refrigeration of perishable items and maintain clean equipment and sale areas.
• Greet customers professionally and upsell where appropriate; provide feedback to improve route efficiency.
• Complete full inventory counts and report discrepancies as per protocol.
• Inspect food quality and appearance and report stale products.
