Job summary

Five Star Breaktime Solutions is seeking a Retail Route Merchandiser to represent the company at client locations in Shreveport, LA. You will stock vending machines and micro-markets, maintain clean displays, and upsell products to maximize sales while ensuring safe driving and strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities include stocking, inventory management, cash handling, and adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Must pass drug screen and pre-employment background check.
• Able to lift 50 pounds and perform physical tasks on a route.
• DOT requirements require age 21+.

Responsibilities

• Merchandise products according to store layouts and POGs; roll out promotions and report customer feedback.
• Maintain inventory levels for snacks, beverages, sandwiches, salads and other items.
• Restock shelves, coolers, and coffee; follow inventory and product rotation protocols.
• Drive company vehicle to deliver merchandise and coordinate with warehouse for delivery readiness.
• Collect money from kiosks and follow cash-handling protocols; document transactions.
• Inspect perishable items, ensure proper refrigeration, and maintain cleanliness at each point of sale.
