Job summary

J&J Snack Foods seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to support plant operations across the Daddy Ray facility. You will perform repairs, assist with installations, and fabricate components to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires 3+ years in consumer product maintenance, welding and PLC experience, and knowledge of OSHA rules. Weekend shifts and multiple assignments may occur as part of a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a consumer product manufacturer.
• 3+ years in welding, PLC, preventative maintenance, fabrication.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations.

Responsibilities

• Repair equipment and building functions used in daily operations.
• Assist in installation of new machinery and equipment.
• Fabrication of parts and equipment.
• Identify design enhancements with vendors and engineering to improve reliability.
• Report unsafe equipment and take corrective action when needed.
• Advise management of potential equipment and building issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance on major systems and tools.
• Guide and assist Maintenance Technicians in repairs.
• Support supervisors in after-hours maintenance calls.
• Work independently on various projects assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
• Maintain training on OSHA, GMPs, HACCP, CCP procedures, Lock Out/Tag Out, PPE.
• Keep work area clean, orderly, and safe.
• Comply with safety rules and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Maintain strong interdepartmental communication to meet goals.
