Job summary

HMSHost is seeking a Snack Bar Attendant in Maui, HI. The role involves greeting customers, taking orders, handling payments, and keeping the work area clean and organized. You may assist in kitchen tasks and stock inventory as needed, reporting to the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Ability to interact with the public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand to perform normal job functions.
• Ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions and policy documents.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food orders; looks for opportunities to up-sell.
• Operates cash register and processes payments accurately.
• Cleans and stocks work area.
• Transf ers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas.
• Assists with kitchen-related functions as needed.
• Receives inventory and maintains product knowledge.
