HMSHost in Hawaii is seeking a Fast Food Attendant to perform a variety of duties in a fast food/snack bar setting. You will take orders, handle payments, maintain clean work areas, assist in kitchen tasks, and manage inventory with proper food handling procedures.

The role is non-exempt and requires strong customer service and teamwork skills, with the ability to lift over 40 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in cash handling and customer service preferred.
• Ability to greet customers and provide menu information.
• Familiarity with up-selling and cross-selling food items.
• Capable of standing for long periods and lifting moderate loads.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and take food orders, providing menu information.
• Operate cash register, handle payments, and give accurate change.
• Clean and stock work areas as needed.
• Assist in locating, reconciling, and verifying transactions.
• Help with kitchen-related tasks and stock movement between storage and work areas.
• Receive inventory and maintain knowledge of products and services.
• Follow proper food handling, labeling, dating, stocking, and temperature checks.
