Job summary

Landscapes Golf Management and Prairie Green Golf Course in Sioux Falls are looking for Snack Bar Attendants for the upcoming golf season. You will provide informal fast food and beverage service in the snack bar and contribute to a friendly, fast-paced environment.

Applicants should be of legal age to serve alcohol, have good math and customer service skills, and be willing to learn Responsible Alcohol Service as part of our team culture. Prior food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Math skills to compute change and totals.
• Strong oral communication.
• Commitment to high level of customer service.
• Ability to obtain a food handler permit/certification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes and acts in line with LGM values.
• Takes orders, prepares and serves food and beverages.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment and storage.
• Rings in sales, processes payments, balances the register.
• Gathers supplies from kitchen and storeroom.
• Displays garnishes and condiments for self-serve.
• Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training.
• Supports team and meets customer service standards.
• Empty trash as needed.
• Assists in main dining and other areas.
• Performs additional assignments per managers.
• Maintain regular punctual attendance.

JOB SUMMARY

Provides informal fast food and beverage service in the snack bar.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

1. Promotes, works and acts in a manner consistent with LGM values.
2. Takes orders, prepares and serves food and beverage products.
3. Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, and production, storeroom, service and other areas.
4. Rings in sales, secures payment and balances register at end of shift.
5. Gathers supplies from club’s kitchen and storeroom; ensures proper transfer and storage.
6. Provides adequate display of garnishes and condiments for “self-serve”.
7. Attends Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service training and adheres to the Responsible Alcohol and Tobacco Service policy.
8. Demonstrates a commitment to the work and success of the Company by being solution-oriented, having positive interactions with all team members and meeting customer service standards set by management.
9. Empty trash as needed throughout the day.
10. Assists in main dining and others as needed.
11. Performs additional assignments per the direction of club or Company managers.
12. Regular and punctual attendance on site for all scheduled shifts is required.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

1. Can compute simple math and count change accurately
2. Good oral communication skills

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

1. Previous experience in food service preferred
